EFICÁCIA DO L-PRF EM LEVANTAMENTO DE SEIO MAXILAR

Resumo
O objetivo do presente trabalho foi realizar uma revisão de literatura sobre a eficácia do L-PRF no levantamento do seio maxilar. Foram realizadas buscas nos bancos de dados científicos Google Acadêmico, Scielo e PubMed, e ao todo foram selecionados 26 artigos para compor a revisão. Concluiu-se que o uso de L-PRF foi considerado seguro e eficaz, seja usado isoladamente ou em combinação a outros materiais de enxerto, autógenos ou xenógenos. Foram observados resultados significativos em relação ao aumento dos níveis de neoformação óssea, estabilidade do implante e celeridade de recuperação. No entanto, ainda há poucas pesquisas disponíveis sobre o tema, de modo que mais estudos clínicos devem ser realizados com o intuito de prover mais evidências.
